    Opened plastic pop containers are fine. You can fill them with whatever you want and you can get in just fine. ;-) We took lots of beef jerkey, chips, and many plastic pop containers in our fanny packs.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. We usually buy one souvenir bucket per trip ( we are getting quite the collection) on the first day and then keep refilling it the rest of the trip.

    It's fun and very useful. My hubby and I are going to start doing that too.
