This year everything was done, and Christmas was in full swing the Friday before Thanksgiving.

Haunted Mansion was the coolest we rode it a few times as we are Nightmare fan's. The Parade was wonderful although hearing the song repeat so many times was a little annoying but great the first few times, the parade it self was great. The Castle had me in awe the fireworks over the Castle with the Christmas music and different lighting affects was great and was in tears when the snow fell. The caroler's where also so wonderful. We have already decided to go back next year because Disneyland it self is great but during Christmas time there is nothing like it. Sorry to go on so much.

i was thinking that tink that is out on the mickey floral on the train station should get somethin too like a little santa hat on her, since they didnt change the flowers halloween and christmas this year as the do usually, tink should get her holiday spirit on.

    Oh, iamsally....*sigh*....the fireworks!

...♪ Remember when the twinkling stars at night
Told you reindeer were in flight
And jolly Santa Claus was on his way
    The warmth of candle glow
    A kiss of mistletoe
And magic lives and we believe
It's in our hearts to stay
    Remember the caring
    A season worth sharing
Believe in the magic in our lives
    Just open up your heart
    And relive the feeling
    Just remember the magic
    Yes, remember the magic
    One more time ♪

Yes...it is the fireworks and the songs they play....it gets me from the moment it all starts, but I REALLY go into emotion overdrive when they start going into "I'll Be Home For Christmas", "Joy To The World", "Silent Night"....I'm totally lost and it takes every fiber of my being not to break down and just cry my eyes out....that single, solitary shooting star gleaming and zooming across the sky....*sigh*

I guess it's good they intersperse these intensely emotional songs with the goofier, zanier ones or I would be in one melted puddle on the street by the time it would end.

Then "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" segues back into the "Remember the Magic" song...with the chorus of "Merry Little Christmas" echoing in the background....and the grand finale....and the snow gently falling to "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas"...Disneyland IS magic!

And, may I highly recommend the hot chocolate at Carnation Cafe. Don't know if it was the company I was keeping, or just a fluke of a day, but it was truly the finest I have ever had!

Yes STIL; were it not for the *light-hearted* musical interlude I would not be able to see the fireworks for the tears. The parade chokes me up as well. Found myself watching video last night (oh how I am missing it this year) and crying over that too.
