The kitty condo people bring the cats out each day to play and get groomed plus they get wet food once a day. when they come home they are very spoiled and act up the first 2 days then realize their vcation is over and settle down. The birds pick up bad habits, like fly off their perch, land on the table and pick food off of our plates. animals on the table major no-no, pickin food off of my plate, major freakout on my part. It took us a month to break them of that habit. We just put them in their cages when we ate then had to listen to, "leeeet me ouuuuut", over and over, it was pathetic and hard, but they are well mannered once again and know they can't eat unless we fill their bowls on their perch. We had a talk to the bird lady to please do not let them eat anything unless it is put in their bowls. We don't trust many people with our animals. We've found that some friends and family just aren't animal lovers and really aren't doing us a favor if they think its a chore.

I visit the common play area and come again at feeding/grooming time to see how it is done. The bird lady does some things I think are weird but she loves the birds and she is so good with them. They LOVE her. I always make sure they only take animals with up to date vaccinations. They are my kids so yea, I'm anal about their care. I try anyway.
