I got 100% on the quiz - I'm glad it didn't go into anything deeper than it did. I know Al Quada is Sunni but I'm not so clear on the diffrences between Sunni and Shiite.

Shia tend to be more institutional and believe in an extra-Koranic tradition through Mohammed's son, Ali (similar to Catholic but not quite) while Sunni are less institutional and tend to adhere to a more literal and exclusive view of the Koran (similar to Protestant).
