DL is high on the list of reasons for living there, as we can come and go when we want and we also use it as a meeting place for friends who come there from out-of-town. I do a lot of volunteer work for our church. I belong to a group of motorcyclists and ride with them occasionally. I also take short motorcycle trips of a few hundred miles compared the the ones I used to take of a few thousand miles. We've got an RV and use it a lot (this post is being made at an RV resort where we are spending a few days), although gas prices have caused us to shorten the length of the journeys. I spend some time, most days, on the internet and connect with LP friends and motorcycle buddies. We both worked hard, together, for 45 years, 6-7 days a week, at the same job. Now we continue to enjoy each other's company as we play. I do recommend retirement when it is the right rime for you.

I'm 55 so I'll just substitute real estate action (fun) making deals with the grind of insurance (some deals but mostly service-- When are you retiring girl?

The rest of my time will be vacationing, volunteering/mentoring, and spending quality time with the family.

Every time fodd posts, I can see that he and his wife are enjoying the life they have "earned". He's close to DL and loves it. And with his motorcycle, they stay active. That is the most important thing ~ STAY ACTIVE ~ MOVE THAT BODY !!!!!! KEEP THOSE LEGS WALKING, MOVING!!! Life changes; I am a "retired" stay-at-home Mom. Now, I have a terrific job for several hours a week that allows me to travel to see my children. My husband is a commercial real estate broker who will never retire; doesn't have to. We will eventually move closer to our children. And, I love the RV thing. One of my biggest "want to's" is to have one of the huge, huge RV's and stay at Fort Wilderness Camp Grounds at WDW. RT knows what I'm talking about. If any of you have ever driven through the Camp Ground at Ft. Wilderness, it is delightful! Everyone decorates depending on what time of the year it is. And we always take our battery-operated Christmas lights and put them on our golf cart while riding around. Yes, I'm seeing me in a honkin' RV soakin' up WDW's sunshine.

Also they would honor the prices given at contract like our unit 602 with 3/2 and 1700 square feet overlooking Lake Eola AND Thornton Park with a Publix on the ground floor (first one in downtown in decades). Talk to your relatives in Winter Park or Springs. Ask them to check out the Paramount of Lake Eola. Our broker said that our unit is now worth over 800K as we tied it up last Labor Day with the 15% down 87K on the 580K unit. It's crazy Chris in Downtown Orlando!!!!! 500 a square foot and going up monthly. The place to be is Downtown Orlando. As you would say a BOMB! Even wilder, if you saw the news, there's going to be a nationally recognized immigration protest TODAY to take advantage of the downtown Orlando Paramount opening. More news of front page of OS----Orlando just overtook Chicago as No. 2 in U.S. behind Lost Wages as a convention site. Orlando (esp downtown) is a bomb!
