From the minute I arrive at the Orlando airport he does his best to give me everything I need. Need a lift from the airport out to the resort? We climb into the back seat and let Walt drive us there. Free of charge even. Don't feel safe carrying around a bunch of cash? No need to. Walt lets you charge almost everything back to your room. I can buy things at a hundred different places at WDW and never be asked for a Driver's License. Don't like carrying packages around? No problem. I just leave them at the store and ask if Uncle Walt can drop them by my room later. Sometimes I don't want them taken to my room. I want them taken to my home. I was afraid I’d be told where the nearest Post Office or UPS Store was. Or at least have to go to the customer service desk. But nope... Walt told his folks to take care of it right there at the check-out. Can you believe it? Have you ever found another place where they will do that? Old Uncle Walt must like me a bunch! And I love the way he drives me around the place. I hate driving when I'm on vacation. Walt says I don't need to do that. He'll send a bus around for me. I may have to wait 10 minutes or so, but that seems a small price to pay. And I know you absolutely won't believe this, but every once in a while instead of sending a bus around Walt will send a boat or a MONORAIL out to get me!! Ever find that anywhere else? I don't even need to pay anything! It seems like everywhere I go in WDW Uncle Walt is there doing things for me that no one else would do. Don't like waiting in line? No problem. He'll give you a reservation for when you can ride with almost no wait. Don't like crowded parks? That’s no problem either. Walt keeps his parks open extra late just for his favorite nieces and nephews. Try asking for that at one of the Smithsonian Museums. They will laugh at you and then call security. Yup. Old Uncle Walt told me if I came all the way down to Orlando he'd show me a heck of a good time. And did he ever!! He has to be the absolute best uncle of all time.

I) guest perks/service (RT has compelling points about WDW's transportation, easy charging, room/home delivery, FP, and extended operating hours) With these two new and important categories I must re-evaluate my breakdown: Attractions...........40% food/dining...........20% night life............10% shopping..............10% intangibles............8% guest service/perks....7% hotels.................5% resort activities......0% seminars,competitions..0%

My WDW trip soured my love of Disney, and DLP has it's issues too. Having just stayed for 6 days at the Grand Californian and the two parks, with some great meals and shopping, and wonderful not humid but warm weather, I will definately return to DL - I still love it. I really do not like much about WDW except Epcot and DAK. But given that I live in Europe and travel alot anyway, and the San Diego Zoo is not far from DL, I can honestly say I do not feel I will miss much in missing out on WDW. In fact it may make me a better LPer.

Now that I am back from DL, I am trying to share that I have not lost faith in Disney as a whole. In fact you could say I am a born again Disney fan. And in this I can be a more positive poster.
