Beauty & the Beast (actually, most Disney movies, but that one especially). The Wizard of Oz. LOTR. The Last Unicorn. Titanic. Casablanca. The King and I.

    3. One True Thing. This one hit too close to home, as I was going through virtually the same thing as the main character at the time I saw it.

    4. Little Women (1994 version). When Beth dies; Thomas Newman's brilliant score doesn't help matters, either.

    5. Dogfight. The final scene does it for me every time.

    6. The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Totally unexpected ending.

    7. Magnolia. I know it was much aligned in another thread, but this one hit me in a certain way.

    The Land Before Time
    An American Tale
Schindler's List (I am FINE through the entire movie, but during the credits when they are all going to Schindler's grave is what gets me.)

The movie made me cry, but honestly, the book had me bawling on every single page. Beautifully written. Very powerful stuff. The book also has a slightly different take on the ending than the movie. Recommended reading.

Also Terms of Endearment. I just can't get through that scene of her saying goodbye to her kids. AHHHHHH!!!!!!!

I cried through some of Brokeback Mountain. What a sad movie that was!

I'll think of more and come back later!

    2. Imitation of Life - my mom had me watch this as a young girl. I balled at the funeral scene.

    3. Terms of Endearment - broke my heart.

    4. Color Purple - when Danny Glover's character makes the sister's seperate. That just tore me up. I was watching the movie with my sister and I just couldn't imagine that every happening to us. I was sobbing and didn't even realize it till I looked over at her and she was doing the same. Very powerful.

    5. One True Thing - when they are singing Silent Night. Wow, I was balling. Losing a parent is such a hard difficult thing.

    6. Steel Magnolias - the graveyard scene. Man, could I relate.

I went to see "Imitation of Life" with a college group in the 70's. They played it at the college and I had no idea what I was going to see!!!! It was a Douglas Sirk series. Holy Smoke! I haven't seen it since.
