When I have a really stressful day, I turn out the lights and turn on the Pirates of the Carribean from the Musical History CDs. It's amazing how it can just make me relax.

Plus there are so many cool and different characters around the park and inside attractions that keep it fresh.

The PeopleMover was my Grandma's fave, but that's out, so we ride that. It makes me think of those great times and a little wistful, but I love it. They were such a big part of my life. I love how Disneyland can do that to me and for me still. I know I become just one big kid when I am there. That's a good thing. Very healing. (concerning my post about Belle, I am pretty sure I mixed that up with the Same Cinderella thread - sorry about that everyone. It was a looong day...)

I think that Walt would be proud to read this thread, because I think it means that HIS dreams for the park came true. Thanks again!

The strangest trip was one of the most recent ones. I was sitting in Coke Corner waiting for the boy to come back with our ice cream and I thought about how since the last time I had been there I had graduated college, moved out of the house with the boy, and gotten a "REAL" job. That was about a year ago...I've been a couple times since then because I decided that if that much could happen between trips, I wasn't going often enough!

It was a real jewel for me to see Disneyland after 3 years of change(my longest Dland draught). It was like a revival. I have always loved the place, Disneyland will always have a place in my heart and I will continue to visit as long as it remains a place of un-matched imagintaion and fantasy bliss.

I luved them] Heck just hearing the announcement outside at the gates of what ticket media packages were available confirmed I was at Disneyland, the magic was beginning. Then, the that special magic pixie dust feeling as one walks through the tunnels, the sound of the train whistle & conductor announcement, the Main St USA atmosphere music, oh wow what a day it's going to be. The park was clean and pristine, even the sound of sweepers were part of the magic. The adventure, the fantasy, the shows, fireworks, all pure magic. Disneyland has always been a part of my best childhood memories, even when I didn't actually go to the park, just watching fireworks from our friends backyard in the summer sparked the magic. Today I still get some of that magic pixie dust feeling when I walk through the tunnels. I must admit, I spoiled it for myself for a few years as I went *too* often, so I purposely backed away from using my AP so often and now when I go I yearn for it and get a bit of the magic feeling again. I cant help but notice the changes and upgrades in the park today compared to my childhood visits. I love going there knowing that some things are still classic staples in the park, and some of the things that are no longer there I like to share stories with those younger than I. I point out some of the old ticket booths and explain about past E Ticket coupons, I show where extinct attractions once stood. It's very nostalgic and makes me feel good. Don't know if any of that made sense to other fans, but those are the main reasons I enjoy DL the Magic and the Nostalgia OH and cherished memories of our daughter as she grew up in Disneyland as the daughter of a Disneyland fanatic. I often wonder what stories she will tell her kids someday, she has spent many a day in Disneyland and surely has many more stories than I ever did.

I go to Disneyland for every vacation and when I tell people where I am going they inevitably roll their eyes and ask me why I would go there since I have already been. I try to explain but they just don't get it. I am so glad all of you do!!!
