All at once, a constant aural reminder that you are in DL and nowhere else in the world.

Walking down Main Street and hearing beloved songs playing when I first arrive. In Pirates, in the lagoon area, and it is hushed and very still, and you can hear the banjo playing and the fireflies are blinking and you are lost in the magic of it all... Being right at the apex of the Splash drop in that millisecond before the fall. What's that place by GRR with the nature type play area? That's a cool place to be in the winter when it's cold and dark and very secluded. There really are unexpected little treasured moments that pop up when you least expect it, like a gift. I just keep adding favorite places all of the time. See the lights on the Rivers of America at night, and the sunshine sparkling on it during the day. Being in the pilot house of the Mark Twain. By the fireplace at the Grand. I'll stop now. I could do this all night....

I worked outside as often as I could when I worked at Disneyland around Christmas time just so I could soak up all the sights, sounds and smells. And I love NOS anytime of the day or night. My favorite is to pop into the little jewlery shop that sells the vintage rings and whatnot and then stoll over to the Court of Angels to get away from the hectic activity. ~Beth
