And that is really a shame, because it used to be my favorite behind the MK. Part of the change is due to Epcot getting better; part of it is due to the AK opening. Much of it though is due to the closing of the Orlando Animation Studio. It is hard to have a Studio park that is no longer a working studio. It's like the heart and soul was ripped right out of the park. Although few put it on their list of 'E' tickets, there was something special about walking in to the Magic of Disney Animation and being able to see animators at work. Unfortunately, few (including myself) recognized just how special that was until it was gone. The Studios still has great attractions. The Great Movie Ride This underrated dark ride is close to Pirates in overall scope. The Wizard of Oz scene has some of the best AA ever. Frankly, I think that one scene blows any Pirates AA right out of the water (pun intended). Voyage of the Little Mermaid An extremely well done and innovative show; one of Disney's best. The underwater effects in the auditorium are great. Star Tours Sure, it could use a new move. But it has one of the best queues of any Disney attraction. I always visit it... probably as much for the queue as for the ride. Muppets I can't quite decide whether this one really needs some updating, or if it's a 'classic' that should remain pretty much the same. I'm leaning towards updating, but it is still an enjoyable attraction. Indiana Jones Though it lacks repeatability, it is still a great show. I visit it every two - three years and always enjoy it. Millionaire Sorry... I’m sure this means I have no taste whatsoever. But I LOVE this attraction. I wouldn't think of going to the Studios without sitting through a couple of shows. Lights, Motors, Action I haven't seen this yet so I can't comment on it. I've heard it has received great reviews though. And of course the two you mentioned... Tower of Terror Still gets my vote as the best attraction in Orlando. The theming, the story, the show and the thrill aspects of the drop are all spectacular. An absolute classic. Rock and Roller Coaster Not an outstanding attraction, but a really fun coaster. It doesn't hold quite the thrill for me now that Mission Space has won the G-forces battle, but I still enjoy it. So I guess after reviewing my Studios favorites, I must conclude that it does have many first rate attractions. Now if Disney could just find a way to give the park a heart again, it would probably move up my list.
