A couple of the CM's stop at my table and make a little conversation since they're getting used to seeing me on a regular basis again. I was going regularly a couple of years ago, then had to deal with some health issues, and started dining there regularly again a couple of months ago. I was touched and pleasantly surprised to be remembered by a few CM's.

I used to love having lunch at French Market but not so much since the menu changed again. I could get a side green salad and a shrimp cocktail. I always put the shrimp on my salad and the dressing reminded me of a dressing my grandma used to make.

Cafe Orleans for the chicken cesaer salad, pommes frittes and of course the Mickey beniegts (sp?)...jeez I love those - need to learn how to spell them!

The key is getting there early!

We make reservations for dinner and hit others during the day. Next week we have reservations for Blue Bayou, Cafe Orleans, Storytellers and Trattoria.

For lunch we like Hungry Bear, Pizza Port, Carnation... we love eating in the park!

    My Lunch Favorites too!

For Dinner I really Like Plaza Inn. I remember a long time ago eating at plaza inn at night and watching the Electrical Parade going down main street. It's still my favorite for dinner.

We love snacking at the Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland. It is good and quick service. Not much seating.

Tortila Joe's in DTD is a great deal.

Pizza Oom Mow Mow in DCA is also a great deal although the menu is limited.

OMG Their grilled chille chicken sandwich is worth the price of a day pass and their breakfast burrito??????

Also their grilled cheese with fruit kids meal fruit makes a great lunch even for a adult...don't ask me how I know this....I just know :)
    <---swoons :)
That said, I would never say no to a kids meal and side salad at Plaza Inn, especially 3/4 of an a hour before fireworks.

If it's just Disneyland Park, then WWS doesn't count :)

I used to like WWS but not much there suits my eating habits now. It's definitely a hike from Disneyland too :)

Dave, I haven't been to WDW yet, but how is the Polynesian Review? I don't expect it to compare (apples and oranges, I guess) but should one go out of one's way for it, considering that even if you're at WDW for 5 days you won't see all of it?

Though I don't know if it is old time lament, the Tahitian Terrace felt more special to me. Though the one at the Poly was lovely as I did the Honeymooner hula together with my bonny lass.

That restaurant is hard to get into as it used to be only open on weekends but the meal is the best we have ever had at the resort, even better then the Napa Rose!
