Napa Rose, yes, once again, a special treat, and they do an amazing job, but as someone who goes to the park once or twice a week on average, can't afford it on a regular basis.

So I MUCH prefer the BEST Value for the money, and why I will eat French Onion Soup every day if I was forced to at Mimi's! (And yes, I could easily eat that soup EVERY day!)

Or $3 beers at Bar Louie's.....

    3. Wine Country Trattoria - best bang for the buck overall of any of the eateries in the two parks, quite good food, and a really nice atmosphere too.

    4. Hungry Bear Restaurant - food not that good, but you can't beat the vibe, or the ability to toss fries down to the ducks.

    5. ESPN Zone - surprisingly good food for a place like this.

Honorable mention: Blue Bayou (overpriced but great for a special or romantic occasion), Uva Bar (great wine and beer selection), Taste Pilots (best burgers at the parks), Bengal Barbeque (overpriced but yummy), Tiki Bar (for eating a dole whip in the Tiki Room waiting area).

Now it get's tough, so I'll just avoid the restaurants and say:

    5. The Lost Bar

Actually, the drinks are better at The Cove Bar, but I've always enjoyed myself more at The Lost Bar because of the people I meet there - some I know, some are complete strangers.

    4. Wine Country Trattoria (wine and soup and salad)
    5. Room Service in one of the DLR hotels (overpriced chicken quesidilla while watching Law and Order in bed when exhausted)

I also really enjoyed Catal's, the chicken at the Plaza Inn, and the Celebration BBQ. I liked Ariel's Grotto, and would go again with my niece. I don't think I will go back to Goofy's, just because I am scared of buffets. Next trip I need to try Steakhouse 55, and I still haven't had a corn dog or been to the RRPP, White Water Snacks, or the Bengal BBQ.

Hungry Bear- You can't beat this view. Also, if you go at just the right time of night, you can see a couple rafts full of Fantasmic! actors. Pretty cool!

River Belle Terrace- For breakfast. Again, for the view. And Walt Disney would have breakfast here on Sundays!

Blue Ribbon Bakery- More of a smackeral place, but amazing just the same!

Catal/UVA Bar- Hubby and I have been going here for awhile now. It's our "go-to" place for special occasions. Really good food, and the drinks are amazing/dangerous!

I never eat inside DL anymore since the quality of food is so much better in DtD and even DCA.

Any place else is overpriced and a waste of money. $1.75 for a banana or more for water or a cookie - are you kidding me!

For me it's all about the casual atmosphere and certain "I'm in DLR" foods :)
