Wonderful Bette Davis about a woman who is abused by her family and repressed by her domineering mother, which causes her to have a nervous breakdown, but that leads to her coming out of her shell and finding friendship and love. It's a sad movie through many scenes, but the ending is lovely.

Not my favorite Sherman Brothers tunes either, but my oldest daughter has been singing them so I guess they are catchy in their own way. A Knight's Tale own the dvd gin and tonic When dh gets to pick the dvd, it's always this one. We never get tired of it.

And I enjoyed Depp's performance overall. However, I could not stand the Oompa Loompas. They got annyoing and just unnecessary. I did also like the kids that they chose for each character. (Did anyone else feel a desire to go ride it's a small world while watching the "Willy Wonka" song??) The Pacifier rented from Blockbuster KFC and a Dr. Pepper This movie was pretty funny. I expected it to be awful and only rented it b/c my sister was sick and wanted to see it. Meet the Fockers rented from Blockbustr Dr. Pepper This move was great. I laughed so many times during it. The personalities of both dads reminded me of Nessa's dad (Mr Focker) and my dad (Mr. Byrnes) and how my dad's personality has slowly loosened up.

This is one of Russell Crowe's first films and he plays a gay man, Jeff, living with his father, Harry. It was heartwarming to see the love and loyalty in their relationship. Everyone should have a father like Harry. A third character in the film, Greg, was played by John Polson, an actor I'm not familiar with. However, he was very yummy looking and I'd take him over Russell Crowe any day. This is an engaging little movie. It's based on a play--which I would love to see some day.

That happened several times in this movie. Hilarious film. Vince Vaughn has moved up to legend status with this film. Owen Wilson is terrific in the film playing the "straight man" An actress by the name of Isla Fisher(she's the girl Vaughn's character hooks up with) is a scene stealer. And Rachel Mc Adams maybe the most adorable actress in Hollywood. She is so likeable in this movie. But I highly recommend it.

Several really good/fun parts like the Willie Wonka song and the story line of Willie's childhood was good. Maybe I expected too much. I'll watch it again on rental. Sometimes I like a movie like this better the 2nd time.

It weaves urban legends through his grieving process, and it's just very well done IMO.
