I had not seen this movie since I was a little girl. In a way that was kind of fun because it was like watching a brand new movie. As an adult I have great appreciation for the choreography, the chimney sweepers in particular. The music was sweet.

I was surprised at how many and how long the musical numbers were. Although I don't remember anything specific about the movie from my childhood experience, I do remember I enjoyed it. I'm off to watch the extras now on the DVD.

That's a great way to describe that movie. Just watching The Rock slap his baby blue polyester rump is worth the rental fee. ;-)

A must see for fans of Pride and Prejudice, Moulin Rouge, Bend it Like Beckham, Monsoon Weddding, whatever. Totally fun. Made me want to dance along. Some scenes were hilarious subtle thefts from the Colin Firth version. I'll have to buy this one.

I guess the CGI was groundbreaking for it's day (1994?) but it doesn't hold up as well now. Why make such weird, stylized animals?

It did get my kids interested in reading the book though - by Chris van Allsburg - the same guy who wrote "Polar Express". Their verdict: he's great at concepts and visuals, but not such a great writer.

I really liked this movie. It had a good storyline. Of course, I really like Topher Grace, too.

Cute film. I LOVED the red head ( Don't EVER leave me. Becuase I'd find you!!!) It dragged on a bit and was too long overall. Still really liked it, good escapsism.

Loved it. Best movie of the summer by far and one of the first i've been emotionally invested in. Rob Zombie has really progressed as a filmmaker since the first film(House of 1000 Corpses). Gone is the wacky funhouse style of the first and now we have a much more gritty and realistic film. The acting was great, expecially from Bill Moesly as Otis. I was surprised to find myself so emotionally invested with a group of serial killers but Zombie manages to pull it off. Best of the year.

Not too bad. Better then I expected but had a few too man unintentional laughs. Would make a good rental.

Better then I expected. Much better infact. I did like the first half of this more where the movie centers around a sci-fi mystery then I did the 2nd half which was a big blow- em'- up action movie.

Very funny. I liked it better than the original. Especially the end. And where Gene Wilder just seemed moody, Jonny Depp seemed down right crazy!

Really just a fantastic film. One of the most beautiful films ever. I even hit the mute button just to look at the animation and backgrounds.

And this movie should only be watched in widescreen.

Um, it was certainly a visually appealing movie. The clothes, the sets, and incredibly handsome Ewan McGregor. It kept my interest even though the plot was goofy. Ewan McGregor takes off his shirt several times, so that was a bonus.

My husband picked this one, since he hasn't seen it. I think I've watched this about 4 times in the last few weeks. Still some very good moments though. Every parent should watch this.

Fairly amusing in a no redeeming factor kind of way. Loved the rumble between the newscasters.

Great summer "popcorn movie". In fact, it is better than that. Although the story had some huge holes, the individual performance and special effects were great.

Tom Cruise and Dakota Fanning were very good. Tim Robbins was fantastic. He has sick and twisted down so well it is SCARY!

I thought Signs was a better "invaders from space" movie, but WOW wasn't bad at all.
