The plot is that he fakes his own death so that he is appreciated by his peers. A lot of stars make brief cameos in the film. There's just one problem. It's not funny, I know it's a Pauly Shore film, but Son-in-Law had its moments. But skip this one.

I looked up Roger Ebert's review and he explained that they have to walk inland to lay their eggs on solid ground or ice.
