I don't want to give anything away but how it ended, I thought that would be the case and that was nice. Prime local theater popcorn Eh. Not that great. It had it's moments where it was very funny. But overall it just didn't do it for me. Didn't like the ending either.

While not Oscar material, the plot was credible, and it was pretty funny, not to mention clean. It may not be on the top of your list, but if the kids are driving you crazy over Christmas Break this is an enjoyable two hours.

I remember the book as one of the slower-paced installments, so I was fine with them picking up the pace in this one. The dragon climbing along the side of Hogwarts was amazing, and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was very cool, too! Crash Comcast On Demand No snacks An amazing movie that really underscores how people's attitudes are complicated, conflicted about race. Lots of food for thought.

All the other important parts were left intact.

As for movies I've seen: War of the Worlds Dvd What can I say, I liked the film. There were some geniune Spielberg moments that just leave scared and giddy at the same time. I thinking the time in Tim Robbin's basement. A well made solid film but it can't hold a candle to what I finally saw for the first time.... King Kong(1933 version) DVD Wow wow wow. What a fantastic film. Yes some of the effects are hokey, but they're rather charming too. I just loved this film.

Adds another mystery to the story and by taking it out they took away some innocence from Neville(Him stealing the gillyweed from Snape)

I'm in love with this movie and will be seeing it again VERY soon, and am going to start pushing for us to do a production of it at my theatre. THe music was great, the acting was great, just FABULOUS! AND, I was VERY pleasantly surprised to see the Roger character. I had NO idea who he was, but I recognized his voice the MOMENT his mouth opened and he started singing - he voiced the lead male character in Aida on Broadway in addition to being a perfect Roger in Rent!

They abandoned Rita Skeeter in mid-movie, you never find out how she's getting all the juicy dirt on Hagrid, Harry, Hermione, etc. By leaving the House-Elves and Ludo Bagman out, they had to completely re-write Barty Jr's story. And my biggest gripe because they make a deal of it in the book Padma Patil is a blooddy Ravenclaw, not a Gryffindor, yet she and Parvati are shown practically joined at the hip. I understand they had to take a lot out essentially for time, but to abandon the Skeeter subplot in mid-movie and a couple of other minor things made the movie a bit disjointed in my opinion.
