It's a one-joke movie that goes on for close to two hours.

Kar2oonMan -- 'Scrooge' is one of my favorite movie musicals. Terribly under-rated, with great songs from Leslie Bricusse -- who wrote the songs for 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' with Anthony Newley.

My kids didn't believe me when I told them that the Albert Finney we see during the visit from the Ghost of Christmas Past was really how he looked at the time. There are some great songs in that movie. The joyous show-stopper "Thank You Very Much" cannot be fully appreciated outside the context of the movie, although it's now being used in a Volkswagen ad.

I thought it was really well done and although there were some changes they didn’t bother me in the least and kept the movie flowing well. I can’t wait to see it again.
