Some of the one-liners and visual gags were very funny. But I would gladly have traded some of those for more three-dimensional characters instead.

Totally predictable, but fun. It felt like a made-for-DisneyChannel movie or an extended episode of some [non-existant] Disney series, but it was worth watching. Comments not related to the quality of the movie: -- Any film that showcases Linda Carter gets at least a "B" in my book. -- OMG! Cloris Leachman is OLD! (Very small role) -- Warren Peace was HOT! (Heh heh -- a little in-joke there for those who've seen the movie.) I think the actor Steven Strait could become The Next Big Thing within a couple years.

It was one of the stupidest movies ever and a total waste of my time. (I'm now re-evalutating my friendship with this woman.) National Treasure Netflix DVD Coffee, biscotti and some divine chocolates I liked this. Unbeleivable, of course, but a nice escape. Fast paced and a fun adventure. I love reading or watching theories on The Knights Templar. This was a good one.

Have heard numerous folks say it was LOL funny, but not so much for me. Eric bought me the unrated version, so maybe that has something to do with it - dunno. But, I did like that Steve Carrell's character didn't go for the easy lay and only ended up sleeping with the woman who'd just become his wife.

The next time I feel guilty or self-conscious about commenting on the appeal of a male actor in a film, I'd like you to refer me and the LP jury to DDMan's blatantly... well, heterosexual posts. It goes to show that the use of physical appeal is a seemingly universal movie-maker technique to get people to like and recommend a film. Case closed. [BTW, DDBoy, I totally agree about Lynda and Kelly.]

Chronicles of Narnia theater popcorn and soda (both of which my messy family spilled everywhere) It was okay, better than most movies but I didn't completely fall in love with it. I really wanted to fall in love with it and was sure that I would but it didn't quite happen. I'm not sure if I just expected too much from it or not. I probably did considering I always cry when I think of Aslan.
