I still don't feel like I know anything about him. The movie was very vague about his study of pedophiles.

Qui Gon became Batman's mentor and then is now playing Jesus posing as a lion. Tilda Swinton was awesome. There were quite a few times when I was reminded of "Lord of the Rings" (especially the cavalry that arrives at the end), but it didn't compare to "LotR" (hadn't ever read those books either). Some of the CGI was really good, but other times, it was pretty bad. I've never dealt well with talking animals though. Disappointed that the polar bears were on the bad side, but the cheetahs looked awesome. Was surprised that Jim Broadbent was in it but then was disappointed that he was only in it for about 10 minutes. Liked it enough to be willing to see a second one. We saw "The Family Stone" today, and I really enjoyed that. I'd seen one or two trailers for it, but I don't think the trailer nearly captured how good the movie was. It was fun, and I laughed really hard at times, and other times, it was a bit uncomfortable, and I cried at times. Lots of name people in it (Craig T. Nelson, Diane Keaton, Sarah Jessica Parker, Claire Danes, Dermot Mulroney, Owen Wilson), and everyone (including the actors I didn't already know) were really good. Eldest son brings his girlfriend home for Christmas to meet the family. Drama ensues. I found the movie very thought-provoking at times. I'm never going to have to deal with the situation, but what if your beloved son brings home a woman who you just know isn't right for him and who doesn't fit in with the family? What do you do? And I've heard enough horror stories about in-laws that I'm grateful not to have been tortured by mine. /cs

Both will be movie's I watch a lot, I'm sure...<< I agree with you 100% Icey. I crack up still when I watch the new version, but then again, I didn't "get" Napolean Dynamite. FWIW, my kids hate, H A T E hate, the original version. The only actress I didn't care for was the actress for Veruca Salt. She didn't seem very convincing. Other than that, I LOVE the new version.

The soundtrack is great. I'm glad Bruckheimer, since he doesn't have anything else to do, decided to go with this one.
