Very predictable story. Kids will like it. Should do well on DVD.

I decided to watch it since it was on and it would save me the price of rental. I went in with really low expectations since it was a DTV, but it really surprised me. I really enjoyed it, and it even made me teary in a couple of places. I'm not sure if I'll buy it, but it would definitely be one I'd rent sometime.

    Yesterday:
Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit
    rented it on DVD
    no snacks

Wonderful, fun movie (even if I did figure out part of the story a long time ago from the trailer) with a brilliant sense of humor. Not a real guffawer but it made me laugh all the same.

    The Mask of Zorro
    rented it on DVD
    no snacks

It was good. Pretty much a typical summer action movie, but I enjoyed it.

    Treasure Planet
    own it on DVD
    no snacks

I still love this movie, and the "I'm Still Here" sequence and goodbyes between Silver & Jim still make me teary.

This was the 2nd time I saw it. I didn't cry as much. I noticed this time that Ennis says some funny things.

Bad, bad movie...skip at all costs, and do something else with 2 hours of your life. How this film ever got 4 stars is beyond me.

A classic movie. Followed by a very good sequel and a terrible third film, sigh.

Bill Murray continues his path of making independent films. Loved Rushmore, was disappointed in Lost in Translation, hated the Life Aquatic. As for this one it's a good film, kind of slow moving, but worth a rental at least.

We were going to go see the new Pink Panther at the theater last night, didn't, and then voila there was the original on TV. It was fun to see it again, Big WOW at how dated it is.

I'd be happier if they didn't make Quasimodo live. He's SUPPOSED to die. Other than that, cute flick. I enjoy it.

This movie was pretty good. A few holes but still interesting. I love Jodie Foster.

Incredible documentary about Timothy Treadwell a man who decided to live among Grizzly bears in Alaska for 13 summers. Some amazing bear footage, but Treadwell really comes off as a nut. Hey I like animals as much as the next guy, but whoa he really goes overboard.
    Highly highly recommended.<<

I agree 100%. He really did come off as a nut job. They could have, should have, left some of that stuff out of it. The foxes were very cool though.

If he died, they wouldn't have been able to make HOND2. Which wouldn't have been such a bad thing.
