I'll definitely get this when it comes out.

It was just another rich girl, loses it all, needs to get a job yawner. Dakota Fanning did a great job, but the whole thing fell flat for me, especially the ending. Blah.

I also enjoyed the deleted scenes, especially "Goodbye Love," which should have been IN the movie, but I think overall, I prefer the original ending, not the deleted one. It has more of an emotional impact for me. This morning: Ringers: Lord of the Fans rented it on DVD no snacks Good documentary. Nice to see some of my fellow LOTR fans again (and awesome to finally get to see one of my online friends "in person" in one of the scenes [she's garfeimao, with the gals who are Loons, for those who are curious]).

This one is now one of my top 10 faves (and I can't think of a better way to watch it than the way I just did, curled up on the couch with one of our cockers curled up on top of my hip ).

Last night: Footlight Parade watched it on TCM frozen dinner I've wanted to see this movie for years, especially after seeing the trailer two years ago at the Great Movie Ride. I really loved it. James Cagney was just riveting in it, and the "By a Waterfall" number was utterly spectacular. Truly a hallmark to Busby Berkeley's genius. I can't wait to own this one next week on DVD!
