    Yes, Ice Age II.

It was a version of "dang".
Probably would've slipped by without notice if it were in a different scene but it was like an entire scene all to itself. It was just gratuitous and insulting I thought. Like its not hard enough to parent. 'course just another oppty to teach what's ok and what's not in your family. It is just not a big deal in some families. And it's not like there was a LOT of it. It's just that it was sooooo emphasized in taht one scene.

Okay. Back on topic (and wendebird please feel free to email me if you want. I don't remember how old your kids are. sorry.)

    National Treasure.

This 1980 movie is like two films stuck together. The first half is a funny prison farce, the second half a TV-movie of the week quality prison escape movie. Oh well. The first half is very funny. Hadn't seen it since back when it frst was released.

Interesting watching familiar faces in smaller roles in old movies like this... Craig T. Nelson and JoBeth Williams, who later starred in Poltergeist, were both in this movie.

Well, this was one boring horror movie. The first version of this movie wasn't anything great, and it didn't get any fresher the second time around. Very forgettable, and little attempt is made to deal with the gaping plot holes throughout the film.

    Nice digital fog effects, though.

I really like this movie although I was a little bored by it tonight. I love the house and wish it was mine. Well, w/o the ghost.

This movie is about the brutal murder of Matthew Shepard. I didn't really know much about the story because I avoided it when it was in the news. I'm not sure I would ever watch the movie again, but I'm glad I watched it once.

Maybe next time you'll think twice before directing a film. ;-)

Ugh, what a disappointment. It was like they didnt have enough movie for the time alotted to it so every 7 minutes they would a. be in some sort of dangerous situaution or b. there would be a Scrat interlude. And the unneccessary rough language just showed lack of imagination. Ice Age is one of my favorite movies so maybe I was expecting too much but this was not good.

My feelings on the film is in the title, it's a good movie, nothing really great and a little slow at times, but I liked it.

    Brokeback Mountain

Yep I caved and saw the film, I wanted to see what the hype was about. I'll give a more detailed review in the Brokeback Mountain thread.

It has been awhile since I have seen this movie and I wanted to see if it was as good as I remembered it to be. It is. What a beautiful film. It has a lot of the same themes that are in Brokeback Mountain, I notice.

Ok. I had heard that this version was okay so I bought the dvd. Oh, how I wish I hadn't. It so didn't have the spirit of the book. Hello, Bingley called himself an a@@! You should have heard the swearing I did when he said that. You take one of my favorite books and totally mess it up? How dare you, makers of this movie. How dare you! My ascot is all in a knot now.

Look I'm not a prude or anything, but this movie was awful. There were two funny parts, Kevin Pollak impersonating Christopher Walken and Martin Mull telling a different version of the joke. Avoid at all costs.

    Doom
    Boring film, nothing memorable.

    Saw II
I wasn't really a fan of the first Saw, but this one I really liked, kind of surprising.

Ugh... it was cute at times, but overall just kind of let me feeling a bit let down. I did like the vocal stylings of the cast, though. And the baby alien was cute - I want one!

2oony and 2oonlet1 talked me into seeing this one. 2oonlet2 was on a camping trip and no way would he go for it. (I wanted to see RV but we were told that the theater was really crowded.)

The movie was pretty good....a little intense, but good. Normally I don't see these kinds of films but I'm glad I saw this one.
