At Home on VCR I was at a thrift shop recently and it appeared that someone donated their entire Disney library on VHS. (upgrading to DVD, I suppose!) The movies were $3 each,(still in the shrink wrap!) I wanted them all, but I only bought these two. I had never seen "So Dear to My Heart." It was adorable. Pollyanna I saw when I was about 7 years old. It was just as great as I remembered. (I had to run for the tissue box at the end.)

The rest made for a good conversation starter as to what goes into good comedy--and what does not. "Cars" Movie theater, w/popcorn & jalapeños Uhhm... It was absolutely boring! No, I did not hate it at all--there was nothing there to feel that passionate about. Looked like an extended dance remix Chevron commercial, with lots of aerial shots of Hot Wheels. Most boring Pixar flick for Disney yet. "Gomaal" Local Bollywood cinema, with samosas & mango lasshi Okay, THIS is what family entertainment should be--ENTERTAINING! Better physical comedy than "Nacho Libre," better racing scene than "Cars." Goofy, cute, funny and colorful--the only one on my list worth a second viewing--an actual FUN evening at the movies!

They used typewriters! And pay phones! and on and on. Amazing any work ever got done in those days.

Amazing any work ever got done in those days<< We watched this not too long ago on the late late movie, and what got me the most was the scene where they are looking for the guy in the picure - the STACKS AND STACKS of phonebooks they were looking through!! God Bless the internet, lol!

Before Sunset Netflix chips and dip Interesting to see them meet again and find out if they ever kept their date for 6 months later. Wasn't as entertaining as the first one though and ended a little abruptly. By it wasn't bad. Ethan didn't age well.

The cutest part to me was during the credits with John Ratzenberger's character (don't want to spoil it). Oh, and that even the little insects were cars - that was cute! I also forgot to post when we went and saw Dead Man's Chest on opening day -- it was really good too. We're going to go see it again though in the theater because they oversold the showing and we ended up sitting in like the 3rd row from the screen and it was reeeeeeallly hard to follow some of the "larger" scenes like the waterwheel.
