    My biggest complaint....

It's a period film that takes place in 1935. So I was expecting Gospel and Jazz. Right? Wrong! It's a mixture of rap, r&b, and hip-hop!

If I wanted modern music .. I would see a modern film! Not what I expect in an era when R&B and Rap was not invented for another 60 years!!

    HUGE mistake the producers made!

I want my 2 hours back!

Without a doubt the worst piece of garbage to ever be graced with the privilege of sticking to celluloid. Impossible to follow, disjointed, stupid dialog, in my opinion, not even "artsy".

I guess it got it's hype because it was on the heals of "Godfather" and Brando had a following at the time. If I had been him I never would have mentioned it to anyone that I was in it.

A definite thumbs down, how about you Ebert?.

A weird combo of movies but I enjoyed both. The first for the outrageous humor and the second for Chritian Bale, lol.

We really liked this movie. I think DD said it best when she said, "That was a great movie. We laughed, we cried, we were a little scared." One viewing was enough but it was a good little flick for a evening viewing.

This movie had a really slow start for me and some of the dialogue was too stupid for even me who loves stupid. lol. But, by the end, yeah, alright, I'll admit it. There were a few tears. Its just so sweet, that's all. lol.

Americans need to see this film before election day this November. The level of tax dollar waste in Iraq by private contractors like Halliburton and KBR is staggering and completely unacceptable.

The film details which contracting corporations gave millions to the GOP in election contributions, as well as earnings growth over the course of the war, including CEO compensation, which averaged between 30 and 50 million annually for each CEO.

This absolutely MUST change. Four accountability bills for private contractors in Iraq have been shot down in Congress since the war began by the GOP members who consistently vote the party line. The Democrats need to take back control of the Congress, and stop this taxpayer giveaway to the private contractors in Iraq, and set a timeline to get us out.

I am not shocked by anything anymore. The subject matter in this film is not shocking to me. The details in the storie (implied, discussed and shown) are unrelenting. That someone filmed the scenes and put up on the screen is amazing. This is not a film for everyone. I don't know how many people can sit through it but it was amazingly done, extremely well acted and actually made me feel hope at the end.

Does your coach require lap dances as part of your training? That's strict!

Creepy and good. I wasn't thrilled by the look of the characters, but the house was great, the script was good, the voice performances were good. Don't know why it didn't do better.
