I wasn't sure I was going to watch any more movies from the Cruiser because of his general nutiness. But then I decided that I don't agree with 90% of Hollywood politically and I still watch their films.

And I'm glad I did. This was a very solid action film. Good movie.

I like it even more now that I know she went crazy later in life. You can sort of see the craziness in her eyes sometimes. Was it an act?

    saw it at the googleplex

Absolutely brilliant. They had me from the opening song by Prince. Excellent movie. Very fresh and different. (except for the fact that it's exactly the same story as Lord of the Rings. And March of the Penguins.)

Laughe4d so hard I cried, and after the fight scene I saw tonight, I totally understand what may have made DAR say above that it was uncomfortable to watch at times - I was prepared for the idiot racists at the rodeo and in the camper, but the fight just completely shocked me - I almost threw up a little.

Definitely buying this once it's available on DVD!

I really liked this movie. Not one I'd watch over and over and over but definitely worth seeing, at least for me personally. Really makes you think, but then again I'm a simple person. It hit me the same way " The Family Man" with Nicolas Cage and Tea Leoni did. I think if you liked that, you'll like this.

On Thanksgiving Day I saw "Deck the Halls" at a theater. I only ate some chocolate covered pretzels to save my appetite for the feast. It was really funny. (I know, the write ups were bad, one star and all of that, but 8 of us went to see it and all 8 of us liked it!)
That night I saw "Hook' on the VCR. Too full to eat anything. It was cute!
Then, last night we finally got to see "March of the Penguins" on the Hallmark Channel. We had some leftover pumpkin pie and chocolate cheesecake. The movie was awesome, but I still had some unanswered quesiotns...I think they should make a Part II...

The movie makes the weaknesses in the story even more apparent. I think it would have been a much better story if they skipped the killer monk and church conspiracy.

Tradition to watch over Thanksgiving weekend. Had to squeeze it in Sunday night.

    The Home Praire Companion
    NetFlix
    Coffee and cake

I really enjoyed this movie. Lots of quiet humor in it. Loved the music. Meryl Streep is so good. Kevin Kline was his normal funny quirky self.

Interesting premise. Mostly great effects. Some decent acting even through some bad dialog. This movie has in what ruins most action - adventure - scifi - horror movies for me now days..... EVERYONE is Indianna Jones or James Bond.....once every 10 minutes.
