Good grief. Willie Nelson & the original theme song at the beginning were the only good things about the whole flick. What a waste of time.

As long as you don't actually wear bunny pajamas while watching it, we wont worry.

Watching this movie each year is like inviting cherished friends over for the evening, except you don't need to vacuum afterward.

Oh, I got the lights at Suncoast video. They cost about $17, but worth every penny! (I actually bought 2 boxes when I finally found them, it took me years to find them and I wanted a spare!)

(and I'm so happy LVCajun got the lights and the lamp! I also have a pink jacket with bunny ears that has "A Chrsitmas Story" written on the front and "The Pink Nightmare" on the back. I'll be wearing it this weekend in DL.~~~~I'm not sure if LVCajun's wife would want him to purchase that item...)

I suppose then you'd pass around pecan pie and egg nog as you put on "Feliz Navidad" and Elvis' "Blue Christmas" on in the background?

    *sigh*...

Watched this last night with the kids. Thanks again to Crouching Tigger and smeeeko for recommending it. I don't know if I would've ordered it up on my own so thanks for the nod because I really enjoyed it. There were so many layers to it. I don't want to be a spoiler so I won't go into details. One thing that was WAY cool was that we had a flock of wild parrots that used to show up at my college sometimes and I had totalllly forgotten about them until I saw this movie. I do have one question though. What was with that jerky guy at the beginning arguing with him about whether the birds were really "wild"?
