It is promoted as a 3-D movie with no 3-D effects (ie images coming at you as I have come to expect, ie. Muppets 3-D). The enhanced colorization and clarity Disney Digital 3-D were subperb, if that is what you go for. Otherwise, we (myself, spouse and two seven year olds) found the movie boring and hard to follow storyline (for younger children)with little humor or entertaiment value. Sorry Disney - This film laid a proverbial egg. Save your dough and wait for the dollar flick or rental version. The Space Mountain shot was cool and the Walt Disney sentimental reference at the end almost brought a tear if I hadn't been hurriedly scramblin' for the door.

The sword fight on the water wheel almost wrecked the last half hour for me. Beatifully filmed the main characters were less interesting. Dave Jones was the best realized character. I was impressed. I also liked Tia Dalma even though I didn't understand half of what she said.

I liked it , it was 100% what I was exspecting, no surprises, just very violent, very macho, very fun.
