A delightful little film about the "hiccups" of homicide. LOL. I had never heard of this movie before but SIL wanted to see it and I like Maggie Smith so I decided to give it a go. (Besides, "Mr. Bean" and Patrick Swayze also starred in it and I just *had* to see how all THAT played out. LOL.)

I found Keeping Mum to be a very charming black comedy and I would happily recommend it. Though murder is involved, it is not gory which I appreciated. The humor is complicated and quirky (like I said it is a DARK comedy) but if you like british comedy, I think you'll like it. :)

Better than I'd been led to expect. The plot is awfully familiar, but it's very well executed.

I can't believe it. My sweet daughter who loves Disney and loves lame-o movies with Hillary Duff in them bought this DVD and recommended that we see it.

I must admit that she warned us that it was violent, but I can't believe just HOW VIOLENT it was. I'm glad I wasn't eating anything during our viewing. I really doubt it would have stayed down.

Bad mommy moment (not if you ask DS10/DS15) DS10 got his braces this morning done before 12 but instead of taking back to school took him and DS15 (finished w/school do to testing) to the movies... They think I am a great mommy - I guess I should just enjoy it while it lasts.lol...

EXCELLENT movie, I thought it was the best non-Pixar Disney movie since Lilo and Stitch.

family movie night. I haven't seen this in years. We had a hard time convincing the kids that they didn't use computers to film the chariot race.

It was a fun and exciting movie! Lots of action. We had to sit in the second row and some of the darker scenes were really hard to make out, especially with the black Spidey. (So, sit farther...or is it further??)back if you can! (I know seating will be limited!)

As my luck always goes, the theater was out of state, but only about 25 miles away. I thought it was worth the price of gas and tolls for 8 movie passes, so away we went. Our directions were awful, and we found the theater 5 min. before the show was to start. DH parked the car, while the rest of us ran into the theater. It was already full and we were a bit cranky. Not wanting to get right back in the van and drive home, we looked to see what else was playing. So, in the end my "free passes" cost about $80 PLUS gas and tolls! lol (See if I enter any more contests!)
Anyway, the movie was funny and we laughed about it all the way home!
