It wasn't as bad as I'd heard it was. I think I liked it better than the first one but not as much as the second one. There were some odd bits, but overall, a lot of good action, some decent story, but the "message" was a little bit too much "beat you over the head".

    Last night.

    Wonderland

Nothing to eat, it was late.

Val Kilmer stars as John Holmes(he was an adult movie star) who in the early 80's always hung around this house with assorted druggies and low lifes. He always had contact with this guy named Eddie Nash who was a huge drug dealer. So one night the people who lived at this house on Wonderland decide to rob this Nash guy. It's told Rashomon style, in which we get different versions of the story.

So I thought the story was pretty interesting. Then all of sudden the movie just ends. It felt like there was still more story to tell.

It didn't feel like a 3 hour movie. I liked it better than I thought I would, it's MUCH better than DMC (but not as good as CotBP, no surprise there).

Eh. If they'd taken the first 3/4 of the movie and condensed it down to an hour and left the last 20-30 minutes intact THEN you'd have a good movie. 3 of us left at different times in the movie and none of us missed anything important.
I did like Harry's "redemtion" at the end. I'd have like to see more Spidey/Goblin team ups, good stuff.

Loved it. I think this is my favorite of the three. Can't wait to see it again, but I guess I will have to wait for the DVD.

Just a great restoration of this swashbuckler. Douglas Fairbanks's last movie. The orchestral soundtrack by Carl Davis (who did the Pride and Prejudice miniseries) is wonderful. The kids loved it and 2 of them want to run out and read the book.

Amazingly, this dvd included outtakes. Pretty interesting, considering it was filmed in 1929!

I don't see why people think AWE has such a complicated plot - this one made you think as well. Oh terror! I had to use my brain at the movies!

I heard it was slow but that it was very good. I'm glad I took the time to see it. I remember being glued to the tv for 3 days when Princess Diana died. This helped me see the other side of things.

I kept looking at one of the baddies in this and saying "He looks SO familiar, what have I seen him in recently" then it hit me the next day. It was Mr Ekko from LOST! He was leaner and buffer, REALLY ripped.

This Clint Eastwood directed movie got rave reviews last year, and I feel like an un-patriotic schmuck to say that it just didn't work for me.

If anything it made the U.S. Government look like a bunch of heartless jerks for parading these soldiers around, with no sense of how it might be impacting them.

I don't know -- it just didn't work for me.
