The girls loved the music and especially Zac Efron. We'll definitely be getting this one on dvd. How can you not smile? John Travolta dancing with Christopher Walken had me laughing my head off. They looked like they were about to kiss at the end.

But, a lot of us grew up with it as kids so there's that nostalgia factor, so maybe you have a greater chance of liking it if you saw it when you were even younger than you already are now (*brownie points*). There's a lot of us who were kids in the 80s that loved fantasy movies from back then like this one and "The Dark Crystal", "Return to Oz", "The Neverending Story", etc. Definitely "cult" status among my generation I guess. I haven't seen "Willow" yet but I might check it out sometime.

I have 2 boys w/special needs and have been to many Special Olympic events over the years and it brought back a lot of funny memories of some of the characters we've met! I had to "pause" a few times while we laughed over some of the similarities the characters in the movie had to some of the "real" people we know!

As far as The Others: That was a freaky movie. The ending surprised me too! Labyrinth is one of my favorite 80's movies. LOVE David Bowie in that!! Such a great movie. I think I'll watch it tonight.
