It had some of the usual Adam Sandler cast and some of the usual humor but not nearly as much as his other films. Burt Reynolds did a good job in this too... I understand this was a remake of the 70's original version in which Burt Reynolds starred. I don't usually like football films or prison films but some of the characters in this were so likeable that I made it through to the end. Plenty of humor, some dark moments and a triumphant ending kept me interested.

Good story, not so greatly told with decent acting and bad special effects!

I refuse to see another Will Ferrell sports movie or anything he does unless he changes his act. Instead I went on to my second rental which was..... Superman/Doomsday It's a cartoon based on the Death of Superman story done in the 90's. The animation is the same style as the Batman, Superman and Justice League series that have been on in the last 15 years. It's a pretty decent story. The animation was good. The voice work was solid, though when I think of Lois Lane, I'm not sure if Anne Heche comes to mind. But I liked it. So Blades of Glory is a must miss. And Superman/Doomsday is a rental but worth your time(if your into that sort of thing.)
