It takes place mainly in Russia, which is a very interesting spin on it.

Fitting too with the rose parade coming up and how they fit that into the film - with a meaningful part of the plot too. Every bit about it was cute, funny, witty, and interesting. Good storyline too. I learned a few things out of it near the end. My Seinfeld friend from an online group I once joined about the show, told me last month, "You HAVE to see the Bee Movie". Oh where? Right here in Oceanside, just up the street. Not a major theater or anything, but a nice place.

Reminds me of a really good flick supposed to come out in the near future based on a popular video game series that started nearly a decade ago. Initially started on the NES console, but it gained higher popularity on the PS1 and PS2. I don't know if it'll take place in Russia, but the "prequel" that came out last year did and it was one heck of a game, well written storyline. Anywho, back to the topic.

A friend of mine from church let me borrow it, but half joking asked not to keep it too long as her kids were quite fond of it. I thought it was hilarious, very witty, well written, and the music as always was great, especially the at the beginning of the story with Timon's family singing, "Dig a Tunnel". The special features on disc 2 were the best: Who Wants to be King of the Jungle and Timon & Pumbaa's Virtual Safari 1.5. The Virtual Safari was really neat how they modeled some of the ride tunnels after Disneyland attractions. One is the Matterhorn where they pass by the Snowmonster and Timon's Mother asks, "What's he doing in Africa?" After numerous tries I finally beat Who Wants to be King of the Jungle. The second time seeing it, wasn't as good. Don't know why.

After the show we stopped by the local Dairy Queen, where they were playing "I Heard It Through The Grapevine" by Marvin Gaye. "Now THAT'S art," I said.

Wow, Will is sure buff in this movie. My son, who knows how I feel about scary movies kept apologizing to me after the show, lol.
