Not as good as the memory of the earlier films, but probably as good as the reality of them. Nostalgia's tough to compete against, isn't it?

My daughter did not like it as much as Prince Caspian which we saw on the same day. I thought both movies were entertaining and enjoyable.

"Reverend Billy" (a colorful, over-the-top preacher character) along with his band and choir tour the country on a mission to save Christmas from the "Shopocolypse."

At the begininng of the film the Reverend is arrested after carrying a Minnie Mouse nailed to a cross into the Disney Store on Fifth Ave in New York City.

The film ends at Disneyland when he and his choir stage a "stop shopping" protest on Main Street that's so large people thought it was the Disneyland parade.

    Good times.....

If you despise DreamWorks movies, must see.

It exceeded my expectations. I was not prepared to enjoy this film this much. I fully intend to see it again.

I've watched Pirates 1 and 2...we all know how I feel about those.

Now, I'm watching Castaway on TNT. I'm enjoying it, and I had never seen it because I thought I wouldn't...but nothing else is on! :) And I only have 1 kid here, and she's in the tub, so I'm actually able to enjoy it quietly! :)

We liked it better than Center Stage 2. Better dialogue and acting too. No where close to the 1st though.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

I caught some of it on a Wednesday night middle of last month, but they were closing and I only saw the last half. The part after the war was finished and they rushed over to Edmund's aid to see if he was alright, that's when I turned around and walked out because they were turning off all the tv's.

Fast forward (no not the movie) to the following Sunday (like about 4 weeks ago from tomorrow). This time it was generally the same scene coming up, but this was around noon so I had plenty of time to watch it. So, I saw the full last half. But ah, theres more!

Ok so they restart the film. I wasn't too interested in seeing the first part initially, but I started watching and before I knew it I was watching the whole thing. It really answered questions compared to seeing only the last half. Wow. I first was wondering how and why for whatever reason did Aslan go to get killed by the witch. Until I saw what happened earlier with Edmund and she wanted to have him killed. And Aslan arranged with the witch to take his place. Great movie!!!

Of course PotC 3 was playing right next to it, but with the volume turned down. The volume on The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe would be turned up. I didn't mind though, I always wanted to see it anyways :)

Thought it was great! Others have complained that it was too predictable...yeah, so????? Of course it's predictable, it's Indy!

    No Country for Old Men
    DVD at home
    ice-cream

I was glued to the movie. But at the end I was left with my jaw hanging open. Surely that couldn't be the end? But, sadly, yes it was. THAT was a big disappointment. It felt like someone just turned off the DVD player right when we were going to find out what happened. I guess we just get to use our imagination as to what happened. That bothered me a lot!

While it was not as serious as previous efforts, and it was a little far fetched in places, we love it. It was a lot of fun, great one liners, and full of fab action and special effects. Loads of fun!

So, I was enjoying it very much! However, the ending sucked big time! But, overall, good movie. I enjoy Tom Hanks movies, and this was on I hadn't seen.
