I do think it was on the verge of it though as there are some incredibly stunning shots and set pieces in it. One particular shot of Shelly Wintwers is on of the best in filmdom and I never thought I would see it in a mid 50's film. But the story was way to choppy and ...gulp... I thought Mitchum and a couple others were way overboard. It took away from the fear. It wasn't as suspensefull or scary as I thought and the story just made a couple of jumps that I didn't follow. It was beautifully done though.

There is a gag at the very, VERY end of Wall-E - after the logos. If they cut off five **seconds** of the credits, you have been gypped.
