This new Blu Ray of the movie is very stunning and made me remember why I did like it way back when I saw it on the 70mm screen. This movie is really made to be appreciated in a clear, widescreen presentation with good sound. It is more like a piece of art. Sleeping Beauty on Blu Ray. Talk about a piece of art!!!!! Sleeping Beauty has never been one of my big favorites as far as Disney animated films go. It is competantly told but it really shouild be called The Adventured of Flora, Faina and Merriweather. But seeing this on wide screen in BluRay is also stunning. It really is a continuous canvas enfolding on the screen. Other than the three fairies and Malicifent the regular people in the story are all a bit bland and flat.
