The premise didn't work that well for us, but the movie was entertaining enough to meet our (not very high) expectations.

This is not one of my favorite Science Fiction Movies and I love Science Fiction movies. Don't go to see them as much any more because they are now action movies or westerns dressed up as science fiction. This new Blu Ray of the movie is very stunning and made me remember why I did like it way back when I saw it on the 70mm screen. This movie is really made to be appreciated in a clear, widescreen presentation with good sound. It is more like a piece of art.

Sleeping Beauty on Blu Ray. Talk about a piece of art!!!!! Sleeping Beauty has never been one of my big favorites as far as Disney animated films go. It is competantly told but it really shouild be called The Adventured of Flora, Faina and Merriweather. But seeing this on wide screen in BluRay is also stunning. It really is a continuous canvas enfolding on the screen. Other than the three fairies and Malicifent the regular people in the story are all a bit bland and flat.

I don't think she was that different, she was just the youngest of all the girls. Jo, Blair, Natalie and Mrs. Garrett didn't seem to mind.

I can't believe that my Book Club chose this as our book-and-a-movie selection. I'm barely getting thru the book.

Next time, ask them if it's okay, huh? If they say "no?" Leave them in the car.

He never fired a shot in WWII and was awarded the Medal of Honor by President Truman at the White House.
