The reviews of it are not the best and though my memory was that it was really good, it was not. It had loads of potential but it seem like it was edited down and the story id fractured and very loos. Still the production values were great and it is fun to see Shirley as a mean girl. As a side note, one of my guilty pleasures is the 1976 version. (blush)

Incredibly depressing, and when you think it can't get any worse... it does. Great movie and Monique deserves an oscar hands down for her monsterous performance. But a difficult movie in all for me to reccomend just because it's so unbearably difficult to watch for the majority of the runtime.

Finally decided to give Mad Men a try. Watched the first disc, thought the opening two episodes were a little slow but the third episode hooked me in.
