Good movie, but not a great one. A lot of potential, given the source material and talent involved but it all fell a bit flat. Jumping around from so many characters and focus points and story threads doesn't give the movie much a chance to breath and none of the plotlines end up having much emotional impact. Major characters just dissapear from the narrative only to wander back on camera for the closing moments. Still though, a good movie with great acting and some amazing visual imagery, but I get the feeling Peter Jackson was really unsure of what kind of movie he wanted so he just threw everything he could into the pot and it all never gelled together as a whole.
    B-/C+ range.

It was really quite good. This was supposed to be the final send-off for Futurama before it was picked up for new episodes by Comedy Central. Had that not happened, this would have been a wonderful finale for this vastly under-rated show. It was nice to see every character ever on the show again (it was a vast crowd scene, lol), and I was so happy to see Fry & Leela finally confess their love for each other & kiss. I'm curious to see where the show goes now.

The Hangover-Parts of it were kind of funny, but overall I thought it was kind meh and certainly nothing worthy of being the highest grossing comedy ever.

Still a great movie. I feel it didn't get quite the credit it deserved.

    Today:
    Enchanted

I hadn't actually sat down and watched this movie in a couple of years, and I forgot how magnificent it was. It's just so full of life and romantic and wonderful.

I really enjoyed this movie, but tbh I am a big fan of the old show/ Will Ferrel so that might have something to do with it.

I like the first a lot more than I thought I would and the sequel was no exception. It was funny and nothing (to my knowledge) my two youngest sisters couldn't watch and had to fast forward through.

It was very good. I don't think CGI would have done justice to the story. The traditional hand-drawn animation was just right for the story.

Definitely cheesy, but still enjoyable. Neat to see younger Helen Mirren, Patrick Stewart, Gabriel Byrne & Liam Neeson.

House of Wax (the Vincent Price one)
    Netflix Instant

    Really good. Nice and creepy.
