I enjoyed the movie, although it was clearly Burton's personal take on it. Nothing wrong with that, just different.

I thought it was a good movie. Loved the queen's "little fat boys." The only part that didn't really fit, IMHO, was Mad Hatter's dance scene.

We love Owen Wilson, kind of like Jennifer Aniston and love dogs. We thought this was a rom com, but it really is quite different. There were more tears than laughs, and at the end, I was crying unconsolably, but the journey was wonderful. It was worth watching once, but probably once only.

Yeah I was doing the thing a little kid does when they can't stop crying and they do that short staccato breathing thing. That is probably the hardest I ever cried during a movie.

As for what I watched which is completely the opposite of Marley and Me:

    Punisher: War Zone
    Blu-Ray
No food, watched early this morning.

From an acting and writing standpoint this is one of the worst movies I've seen. However the action and violence in this movie is so over the top, I almost have to recommend it. I mean come on a guy gets a fist through his face. Another guy is blown up by a rocket launcher. And there are countless action scenes like this. It's like an 80's throwback. It's a fun movie to attack MST3K style. If you like this sort of thing check it out.
