I felt this movie (and to a lesser extent Speed Racer) did an excellent job of transferring my nostalgia towards the Old Cartoons to the big screen<<<

Oh ya, Speed Racer was another one we loved. But I think what surprised me was how much heart and the quality of Astroboy. given the choice between Disney feature animation in the last 10 years and Astroboy, I think Astroboy is much better. But there does not seem to be much talk of it.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid (DVD)- this is the first novel Mikey has read. As a reward we got the DVD for him and watched it as a family. It is a little like the wonder years (but contemporary rather than flashback) about a kid starting Jr High. And it is really quite funny.

I love this movie too Dave! I saw the twins at Walmart that plays the main characters little brother. Their dad said there was a second movie coming out.

I saw hall pass last night, it was funny but these days there seems to be a lot of gross humour in movies lol.

Not a good movie. I was really disappointed. I love beauty and the best so I thought this movie would be good. It had some cute romantic scences and I liked the ending but it could have been better.

That was a great fun movie. A couple of logistic issues with the amusement park scene but still funny and a bit touching.

Very good animation, excellent cast, and a cute story though, of course, the ending was a bit predictable.

All in all, I give it an 8/10. Go see it! :D
