They shouted during the loud parts of previews and whispered loudly during the quiet parts. About 2 seconds into the actual film, twit #1 started to talk and I whipped around and told her the movie was starting (aka shut up!). They didn't make a peep for the rest of the movie. It was crabby, I know. And I made it worse by bursting into laughter during the most "serious" parts of the movie. Man, so cheesy! Gary Oldman chewed the scenery so much that I was embarrassed (when I wasn't laughing, that is.) Awful movie...unless you're a 13 year old girl. All of the girls I brought thought it was AMAZING. They stayed up all night googling and printing photos of the lead male. Oy veh.

Year One - I had high hopes, being a Jack Black and a history fan. I have to admit, it was very poor. Lost Boys - OMG, I loved this in the 80's and I still do. It has held up increadibly well, even the music, clothes and hair. California Man (I think it was called Encino Man in the US) - Oh this one still cracks me up. Love it still, despite seeing it dozens of times. Kick Ass - I didn't know what to expect. This film was sick, but I really loved it. REALLY LOVED IT. What a great twist on the hero genre. Old Dogs - John Travolta and Robin Williams. It started a little slow, but I must admit I really enjoyed it. Could I recommend it? I think it depends on the viewer, but I liked it. The Spy Next Door - Ok, I must admit that I am a huge Jackie Chan fan. And I really liked this movie, in the way that one may have enjoyed Kindergarten cop. Fun, family adventure.
