I love Thor in the comics, and I adore Kenneth Branaugh's work. All in all, I really enjoyed this movie. It had just enough humor at the times it needed it, mostly in the fish-out-of-water scenes with Thor on Earth, and it had some awesome action. Everyone was spot on in their casting. Can't wait to see him again in The Avengers (and be sure to stay through the credits for the final scene).

Yeah, ok, so I'll say yes, I loved the movie, thought it was tons of fun and did a good job setting us up for the Avengers, BUT let me get back to Chris Hemsworth. Wow... I was all kinds of amazed thinking there was a hot blond guy - usually I'm not attracted to blond men, and, in fact, I can count hot blond guys on this planet using only 2 fingers - that's why I was amazed I was going to be up to 3 of them before I Googled him and found out he's got brown hair naturally. Anyhow, good, fun movie, and as we were told already, make sure to stick around for the end of the credits since this is a Marvel film.

Plain stupid fun.

I would have much rather seen it in regular old 2D but my kiddos really wanted to see it 3D. I am not a big 3D fan.
