This one was a rare one for me because I really hadn't seen any trailers for it, apart from one or two on TV. I love Thor in the comics, and I adore Kenneth Branaugh's work. All in all, I really enjoyed this movie. It had just enough humor at the times it needed it, mostly in the fish-out-of-water scenes with Thor on Earth, and it had some awesome action. Everyone was spot on in their casting. Can't wait to see him again in The Avengers (and be sure to stay through the credits for the final scene).

So, Mike and I decided to see this on Sunday while we were at the Astros-Mets game in Houston on Saturday.

Chris Hemsworth is a GOD in this. Yeah, ok, so I'll say yes, I loved the movie, thought it was tons of fun and did a good job setting us up for the Avengers, BUT let me get back to Chris Hemsworth.

Wow... I was all kinds of amazed thinking there was a hot blond guy - usually I'm not attracted to blond men, and, in fact, I can count hot blond guys on this planet using only 2 fingers - that's why I was amazed I was going to be up to 3 of them before I Googled him and found out he's got brown hair naturally.

Anyhow, good, fun movie, and as we were told already, make sure to stick around for the end of the credits since this is a Marvel film. :)

My kid brother loves this movie, my mom hates it, I wanted to see what it was all about.

It was stupid in the main, but overall I loved it. One to watch if you do not look for reality in a movie and like video games. There were some fab Nintendo and Namco references hidden throughout. Plain stupid fun.

I really liked it and thought they did a good job with it. I would have much rather seen it in regular old 2D but my kiddos really wanted to see it 3D. I am not a big 3D fan.

Not as good as the previous, but still fun. It's a bit a reboot, and I could see it as the start of a long, long series, a la Tarzan or Sherlock Holmes.
