Looks like it was about 2 hours long (a little less, actually), but it didn't feel long at all. Great alien invasion flick! If this is playing at a cinema near you, I recommend you go see it! It won an award this year here in Austin at SXSW and won at another film festival, too. Good stuff!

Pine the young upstart with the young wife and son. Rosario Dawson plays the dispatcher helping them out. Then there's the guy who played the dad in the Transformers movies to tell Denzel and Pine they're doing it wrong. That being said, I dig these types of films. It's well made film that doesn't overstay its welcome(only 98 minutes) and like the train itself builds its momentum and was generally exciting. B+

It clearly missed the quality of former Pixar movies. Only A Bug's Life is worse than Cars 2. The animation was fantastic, really beautiful, but the story was so cheap. It's a spy movie and they added some Cars characters. Usually that's the quality I would expect from today's Disney Animation, but Tangled was a lot better and funnier. In my opinion the main reason for making that movie was the money from the merchandise and of course John Lasseter#s love for Cars. Now I can't wait for Brave which looks very promising. I'm also not sure what to expect from Monsters 2, but I hope it will be better than Cars 2. At least Pixar announced two original movies at the D23 Expo.

I liked Kevin Bacon as the villain. I thought setting the film when they did made perfect sense. I loved the ending and can't wait for the sequel. Awesome awesome awesome film. A
