Felt like I was waltzing down DL's Main Street with some of the music. Love to hear Shirley Jones sing!

Bad acting, bad writing, & predictable. Didn't care for it at all.

You know I'm not really sure and have very little knowledge of Bane in the comics, plus Batman and Robin soured me on the character. My guess is maybe he has a feeding tube connected somewhere.

    Sherlock Holmes

    Red Bull
Good movie. Hopefully the second one is as nice is this one.

    Sex and the City 2

    Glass of wine.
Due to my girlfriend I've seen nearly all episodes of the TV series, which was fine, but this movie was just bad. It's a commercial for Abu Dhabi. The first SATC movie was better.

    The Sorcerer's Apprentice
    BluRay
In my opinion it's a good movie and I like the references to Fantasia.

I have never seen the first two movies, but I had the chance to see this so I did. No regrets :). It was funny and a lot of fun!

OMG, I LOVED this movie! SO much better than MIBII, and it was an awesome, trippy kind of fun for me to watch the credits since my BFF is a lifelong friend of the guy who did the makeup for Boris, and I got to see his name front & center at the top of the non-alphabetical list of makeup people for this movie. :) hehe Silly, yeah, but I think it's neat - I've been a fan of Bart's work since shortly after I met John.

Anyhow, Josh Brolin was GREAT as the young K!

Yesterday we have finally seen The Avengers. I didn't have high expactations, because I'm not a big fan of superhero movies, except for Nolan's Batman. At first I didn't want to see it, but after all those good reviews came in, we decided to watch it. It was the right decision. It was a very entertaining movie with great special effects. Joss Whedon did a fantastic job.

Now I'm looking forward to The Dark Knight Rises!

Finally introduced my two boys to this classic and they enjoyed it quite a bit. I forgot how good this movie truly was.

Battleship didn't suck, it was much better than I expected.
MiB3 was great, but I think seeing it in an enclosed theater where there are fewer distractions would have been a much better way to see it.
All in all it was fun going to a drive-in again.

So, I finally went and saw this - meant to see it when the only place on the planet it was playing was the Violet Crown cinema downtown, but I never got around too it and now it's at the "artsy" Regal in my part of town. I LOVED this film - I think Jack Black should get some kind of award for this. It had all of us in the audience laughing aloud at various points.

Plus, as an added bonus, since it was filmed at least partially here in Austin, that means I got to see a few friends onscreen - Dave, David, and Jill. :) PLUS, Matt McConaughey's mom Kay is in it - she's a VERY nice lady who was one of the nicest volunteer ushers that I had at the Alley Theatre in Houston during my time there. And I always found it awesome that Matthew McConaughey's mom just volunteered there with friends and was so down-to-earth despite the fact that her son as already a big star back then.
