But aside from that the movie was excellent, although the book was quite a bit better. Glad I got to see it at the bargain theater before it came out on DVD.

Originally Posted By Kar2oonMan The Three Stooges On Demand No snacks Well, I rented this with low expectations, and it was about as weak as I'd feared. The three stars were pretty darn perfect as Our Heroes, but there's a TV sitcom plot to wade through, Jersey Shore cameos, and more guest stars than a Love Boat marathon. The actual slapstick stuff is really well done and holds up the Stooges tradition of crazed violence. But I wish they'd have set the movie back in the 1930s, and filmed it in black and white. And then throw out all that plot and Larry David as a nun and junk, and just let the Stooges work as high-rise window washers, or plumbers, or be in the army, and then just get out of the way and let them do their thing. At the end there was a disclaimer warning kids not to really hit people with hammers or poke each other in the eyes. Unless you're on America's Got Talent.
