If Tommy Lee and Sally Field don't get Oscars for this it will be amazing. All were very good and Daniel Day-Lewis was absolutely excellent. I see many nominations in this. I thought it to be a little long, but, as I look back most was necessary to set up the main event.

I only watched it, because the movie was partly filmed in Salzburg and I met Cameron Diaz in a restaurant here when they shot the movie.

I did dig the final battle scene, but other than that, found it as schlocky as I thought it would be. Darn me being a completist and HAVING to see it all of the movies in the series since a girlfriend had gotten me to see the first three with her.

Hey, so in the books, does what happens at the end of the battle happen, or no? I never bought them, but read borrowed copies, so I don't have a way to easily go look at the ending of book 4 again.

Labuda- NO, that battle scene did not happen in the book. That's one of the things I liked about the book, that the issue was resolved peacefully without a huge fight. But I guess the filmakers thought that would be boring on screen so they jazzed it up a bit.
