Although critics and the box office were bad, I like the movie a lot and so I hope that a thirs Tron movie will come.

Didn't you get the joke that he was the same character in all of his movies...I think that's why he stayed so close to how he normally acted... At least that was the impression I got...

Besides the first X-Men movie it is the best of the franchise.

Not bad, but it isn't good either.

Good movie, well done and funny in many places but wasted the money on the 3D.

It was funny. Story was cute. I did like the first movie better.

    The Lone Ranger
Better than I thought it would be. I liked it. Armie Hammer is very handsome and I think Johnny Depp is good in everything he is in. He was good as Tonto.
Action scences were really good. Funny too.

It reaffirmed my feelings of the first one from 2009. The franchise is in good hands.

I'm very familiar with the stage show, and the music - though I'm not a 'mouth breather' when it comes to it --- and from the various comments I had heard when it was first released, it wasn't as horrible as I thought it would be.

Hugh Jackman did a very good job as Jean Valjean. Samantha Banks as Eponine was very, very good. Some of the 'set pieces' were quite excellent. The opening number of them pulling a sailing ship into the dock was really neat. The scenes of Paris looked sort of quasi-realistic, which I liked.

On the other hand Anne Hathaway was very selfish in her role -- Oscar worthy? Eh. Russell Crowe was not very good as he can't really sing, and this is, afterall, a musical. Amanda Seyfried, while beautiful, has a strange voice which I found distracting. And the Thenardiers -- Sasha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter -- horrible and out of place. Their scene should have been renamed "Master of the Gross.' blecch.

Overall, I give it about 6.5 or in French -- Le Six point five.

Too bad Hugh Jackman didn't wear his Wolverine claws for this role... Would have loved your opinion on THAT...)

We loved the movie, but it wasn't as good as the first one, but Pixar's best movie in recent years.

    Mamma Mia!
    TV

Pierce Brosnan can't sing, but it was a nice movie.

Indiana Jones - Raiders of the Lost Ark
    TV

It's Indy, what's not to like.

I also had him watch Dead Snow with me this week, and The Muppets. He LOVED the Muppets, of course, and, like his old aunt, digs zombie movies despite hating horror in general. Which means I'll maybe try to get him to watch Shaun of the Dead today before we go to the movie since I know after we get home, he'll be on the PS3.

We both really enjoyed this movie! I'd give it about an 8.5/10 and say that I think the little girl who plays Channing Tatum's daughter is destined for a long career as long as she doesn't fall victim to the child actor curse.

On a side note, I didn't consciously do this, but I DID wear a Texans for Obama shirt to the movie - which, of course, had Jamie Foxx playing a black President. :)
