I know we have a CM here who worked on 20K who will dispute the low capacity numbers on 20K -- as mgm't spin, not reality.

The sad thing is look what you got in return for those attractions: a stroller park area and a playground

Each and every WDW park has eliminated additional modes of transportation. MK they lost the skyway, Epcot lost the double decker buses, DAK lost the boats ( OK there was never any good way to get from the front of MGM to the back other than hoofing it ). All of these modes of transportation helped move crowds. In addition they also had an "attraction" appeal. How many of us get to ride a double decker bus? A boat? A skyway? Walt himself firmly believed in keeping the crowds moving HE PLANNED THE SKYWAY. He knew that he wanted to spread attractions around the park and he needed alternative modes in addition to pedistrain traffic. This is why he envisioned swan boats, horse drawn trolleys, etc. If the reason why the skyway was removed was safety or maintenance expense then how do you explain there being one in Blizzard Beach?

And lastly if they wanted to save money why didn't they cut Eisner's bonuses?

I'm not talking about a thrill ride just more thrilling than a standard skyway gondola style attraction.

You could make it like an enclosed ski lift and have a little cuplink or whatever attached to the "Vine" cable but the car's arm that holds to the cuplink swings slightly like a motorized pendulum.

How about turning the Galaxy Theater into a virtual reality something? Put the tomorrow back into Tomorrowland.

I may have some of the old polaroid snaps I took from it laying around somewhere. If they haven't faded that is. Very colorful & pretty park. I can't imagine what they charge to get in these days. They used to charge you based on how many rides you chose to go on. Still that way? Lancaster county is a very pretty area. Lots of Amish farm lands. Enjoyed the strasburg railroad & museum.

This type of attraction is what I'd like to see in Tomorrowland. Virtual reality of the future, maybe with the Timekeeper in there for laughs.
