When you're at Disneyland, definitely walk through New Orleans Square after dark, the Christmas decorations are gorgeous. And with IASW, be sure and ride it at least once after dark, too... It takes on a whole different MAGIC when the outside lights come on.

I agree this site is the best. I have learned so much! Thanks to all of you who share your knowledge with us. Cant wait only 49 more days!

It's just a brief little countdown, then the lights pop on.

Watching the kids dance with the band, coloring, decorating the cookies, petting the animals, visiting Santa. I sure hope Miss. Chris is back. 6. Get your Christmas ears, they were SO cute last year. 7. The Christmas decorations and trees inside the 3 Disney hotels. 8. Pictures with Santa at the Grand and Disneyland Hotels, along with Surfing Santa in DCA. 9. Goofy as Santa in ToonTown. 10. Spend time just walking around checking out all the decorations in each land. 11. Fireworks and the snow on Main Street - so so special. I've told my story about my '03 Nov trip with my dad and grandma so no need to do that again. <sniff sniff> 12. New Orleans Square decorations just beautiful. 13. Downtown Disney window shopping and listening to the bands. 14. The Carolers at DL. 15. Stand on Main Street and watch the Candlelight Procession if you are there that particular weekend. So many neat little things to do during the holidays. Mainly I suggest just "slowing it down" a notch for a day or two and really absorbing the atmosphere.

As soon as I saw all the shops and the tree walking down Main Street holding my family's hands, I got all choked up and the tears started-lol. They were such happy tears but I surprised myself and my poor DH had no idea what to make of it, kept asking me what was wrong! Just a little warning too about the Reindeer. You can not pet them! My kids were disappointed because we thought you could and when we got there, the fence is extra high so you can look but not touch.
