*Mike Fink's Keel Boats (Gullywhumper just sits and floats there, unused and unloved)
*Fort Wilderness and the burning cabin
*Stagecoach rides, perhaps on the old Rainbow Mine Train ROW out on the island (seen old footage and they still have the coaches)
*Return of the Astro Orbiter to its proper place

We can only dream about the Skyway. I have a feeling that there is no machinery left in either building. Add to that the exhorbitant costs of erecting the towers, running the cables and building new cars - not to mention the aforementioned ADA nightmare - and you have an attraction that will forever remain firmly rooted in Yesterland.

I dig the inside theming - gets me all verklempt for the old Tomorrowland - but that outdoor sign is hideous and, IMO, the name "Redd Rockett" is SO contrived.

I wouldn't mind capt. hook and skull rock back either, but I think america's paalte has moved beyond the hot tuna pot pie.

OK, so the shipwreck story has been told many times, but the humor of the first film, the family angle, the over-the-top engineering of the house all made it very, very cool.

    As for this:

<<perhaps on the old Rainbow Mine Train ROW out on the island (seen old footage and they still have the coaches>>

it occurs to me that with a small bit of work, an area behind the Conestoga Wagon could be opened up to allow some walkways, benches, etc. along the river's edge up to the old Mine Train and former Cascade Peak area. This could allow folks to enjoy some of the joys of the island when it isn't open (like during rain, or for other reasons), and any little "get out of the way" place in Disneyland is always a good idea. If needed, make that the smoking area, rather than the Big Thunder walkway, so the rest of us don't have to walk through the Cancerous Superhighway to Fantasyland.

Sigh. So many fun things to think about.

    peoplemover
Fort Wilderness and the burning cabin (miss those also)
    Motor boat cruise
Seems like such a waste to have the infrastructure just sitting there colleting leaves and dust.
