What should they replace at DCA?

Just because it doesn't knock your socks off - doesn't mean it needs to be dismantled. Look at Snow White in Fantasyland.

I think a step back in time with technological updates is the way to go. Geauga Lake in Ohio bought the plans to an old Wooden Roller Coaster found in Chicago (Raging Wolf Bobs) and built a new version.

Could you imagine (though I don't know where they would put it) something along the lines of "The Beast" from King's Island? Still, an amazing experience after all these years.

Correct me if I'm wrong here but, I feel the Disney peoples upstairs are trying to create new attractions that can be easily erased if the numbers fail to meet target.

Think about it. If the Toy Story ride fails to perform - what's the big deal. Remove a few giant computer screens and replace the with cardboard cutouts of the next attraction coming down the line.

Why the big move from experiencing something to a general sensory experience?

Wait for Six Flags to declare bankruptcy and go shopping.

From there I'd take out the rides that are basically that....rides, not attractions. Rides are something you see at a carnival. Attractions are something you see at Disneyland.

Obviously it wasn't until State Fair Days that an actual ferris wheel went in for a time.

The Muppets aren't exactly the most timely characters in the world. But they would be a good fit. The Frog sings. The Bear tells some jokes. The Alien crashes into something. The Pig gets mad at someone. The two old guys make comments on the whole thing. The Eagle leads a patriotic sing a long. But by using modern technology, every time you see the show, it is different. Different songs. Different jokes. Even interactions with the audience ala Turtle Talk.

It wouldn't fit in their current building with a flat stage. And I do think the datedness of the Muppets is an issue. But I like the idea.

Replace the wall between A Bug's Land and Tower of Terror. It would cost like almost nothing. Hinged gates. Just like the wall there now, only hinged. Open most of the time, providing access between two deadends. Then you close them to allow backstage access for parades and whatever. Theme it with ads for "A Bug's Life" as a logical transition between A Bug's Land and Hollywood.

It seems so easy and so helpful. Maybe there's some reason why they need routine backstage access through there. But if not, it seems like a no brainer.

I think if Walt saw it on the lagoon he wouldn't mind it so much either.
